Product Overview

Double flange butterfly valve integrated the advantages of eccentric flange butterfly and wafer butterfly valve. Eliminated the defects between them, valve body inner lining Vulcanized rubber. Achieve an perfect seal performance. Widely used in the water supply or drain system of water plant, power plant, steel mill, paper making or chemical industries, along with good adjustment features.

General Information

• Resilient seated in accordance with EN 593
• Face-to-face length acc. to EN 558-1, basic series 14 (DIN 3202, F4)
• With flange ends on both sides acc. to EN 1092-2
• Double-offset disk bearing mounted in maintenance-free bushing
• Medium free bearing (dry shaft) in body by means of double O-ring sealing and closed disk eyes
• Possible to replace profile sealing ring without disassembling the disk
• Automatic sealing system with enclosed and pressure-supported profile sealing ring
• Vacuum tight up to 1 Torr
• Tight in both flow directions acc. to EN 1074-2
• Blow-out proof shaft and shaft sealing
• With self-locking, fully enclosed, maintenance-free worm gear including mechanical position indicator

Corrosion protection

• Body: Inside 3 mm hard rubber coating and outside epoxy coating
• Disk: 3 mm hard rubber coating

Matters need attention for installation

1. Pipeline wafer type flange standard should be in accordance with the standard of butterfly valve, dedicated flange of butterfly valve is recommended for wafer type connection flange.

2. Users should check the working conditions if it is accordance with the butterfly valve.

3. Lumen and sealing surface should be cleared up before installation, no waste adhering.

4. Both side of valve seat extruded as seal washer of flange, no need to use seal washer for butterfly valve

5. The butterfly valve could be installed at horizontal, vertical and any other angles of pipelines, and could be used in two-way.

6. The butterfly valve can not be installed at the corners of pipeline, no handstand installation allowed.

7. The butterfly valve must be closed when installing, to assure valve plate not to impact with the pipeline flange.

8. Verify flange welded without defects. Can not weld after installation to avoid to scald rubber articles and antiseptic coatings.

9. For abnormal situations on switching, should check it out, remove faults, do not open or close the valve with external force.
